Juxtaposition Granny Square Dishcloth

A combination of granny squares styles in one square. Would make an interesting throw with lots of possibilities.

Round 1

In a sliding ring (or ch4, slpst to make a ring)
Ch 3 (counts as the first dc), 2dc, ch3.
[3 dc, ch3] 3 times.
Close loop. Slpst to top ch of beginning ch3.

Round 2

Ch4. 3dc, ch3, 3dc in ch 3 corner space. 
Ch 1. 3dc, ch3, 2dc (yes, 2dc) in the next ch3 corner space.
Dc in the next 3 sts. 2dc, ch3, 2dc in the next ch3 space. Dc in the next 3 sts. 2dc, ch3, 3dc in the next ch3 corner space. Ch1, 3dc, ch3, 2dc in last ch3 corner sp. Slpst to 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 3

Ch3. 2dc in the ch1 space.
Ch1. 3dc, ch3, 3dc in the corner ch3 space.
Ch1, 3dc in the ch1 space.
Ch1, 3dc, ch3, 2dc in the next ch3 corner space.
Dc in each st across to the next corner ch3.
2dc, ch3, 2dc in the corner sp.
Dc in each st to the next corner sp.
2dc, ch3, 3dc in the last corner sp.
Ch1, slpst to top of beginning ch3.

Round 4

Ch4, 3dc, in the ch1 sp.
Ch1, 3dc, ch3, 3dc, in the corner sp.
Ch1, 3dc in each ch1 sp to next corner.
Ch1, 3dc, ch3 2dc in the corner ch3 sp.
dc in each st to next corner space.
2dc, ch3, 2dc in next corner.
dc in each st to next corner space.
2dc, ch3, 3dc in corner sp.
Ch1, 2dc in the last ch1 sp.
Slpst in the 3rd ch of the beginning ch4.

Repeat as in rounds 3 and 4 until it is the size you like. I did 2 more rounds for my dishcloths.

If you want to make a hanging loop, in the last corner ch5 instead of ch3.
